My idea is to print a smooth layer of white ink that allows to write on it with a marker washable.
The message is very clear, especially because the shirt is targeted to the wearer and not at the observer.
In a real situation, where the shirt is worn by a person really diseased, note down a small detail or a little thought could be extremely useful.

I think this is actually pretty insensitive to those suffering from Alzheimer's and is in no way practical.

It's a neat idea to have a shirt you could write notes on but to give it to those with Alzheimer's as an aid is just silly.

It is probably meant to be helpful, but to people who actually suffers or have loved ones suffering it can appear too 'blunt'. Sorry!

I designed this tee to sensitize the viewer. At first sight the shirt is for those who wear it, but really wants to send a strong message to the viewer.
When I look at the shirt that I designed I can think of one thing, that is how life should be for a person with Alzheimer's?

I think it's anything but stupid, because the simple fact that we are discussing it means that the shirt worked perfectly.

Finally, if I met someone with this disease and this tee, frankly, I would make a great smile and I would think that person would have a very stronger spirit and for this deserves my respect.

This is my modest opinion, thanks for commenting and criticizing ;-)

Have you ever see Memento? In the film did not seem so horrible!

I've seen "Memento" (with Guy Pierce). It was one of the first thoughts that came to mi mind when i saw your tee.
Good job, Hokai.

I would like to purchase this shirt (maybe 2 or 3) from you, if it doesn't get chosen. I think this is great, and I think it gets the point across. I do not think that it is insensitive. Even though people suffer from Alzheimer's, they still have a sense of humour. My grandmother would find this hilarious, and she is the person I would buy it for.
Contact me, if you would like to print it and sell me a couple please.

I have to agree. I think most people dont care to advertise their illnesses in such an obvious public way. This has no discretion at all which the majority of the people afflicted with this disease would prefer. Its demeaning and humiliating to most who may already be sensitive about their illness. Not practical at all either. Why cant they just carry post it notes or notebook/paper to write stuff down? But on a shirt? As a novelty, ok...as a serious idea..no way. If they really do want to write notes on their shirt...just buy a white blank Tee.
Maybe good intentions with the idea but i dont think the masses would go for it. It would be looked at as a joke Tee which I doubt if you would want that too.
Good luck though and i applaud you for trying something different at least.

thx rhyminboy. I know that my shirt did not win the contest, because the irony of people varies for each individual (as it should be!). But even if I win I'm happy that my idea has created much discussion. It means that it works hihi ... ;-)

Many thanks to all of you, because these are situations that make me grow! :-D

Hokai, thats a great attitude to have. It will make your future designs/ideas better. Yours probably has the most comments i have seen and that has value all of its own because you are right... it has opened up discussion. :-)
