I always loved the part of The Little Mermaid when Ursula gets fed up with Ariel for almost getting that kiss and decides to take matters into her own tentacles. She throws all this weird stuff, including a butterfly, into her undersea cauldron and transforms into Vanessa. It is so cool when her voice changes mid-cackle.
I wanted to show her conniving with her conch that holds the source of her power of that poor, unfortunate soul.
