WHO's your friend?
Created by ecsweetman on Jun 15, 2011
Kermit and Fozzie, Gonzo and Rizzo. Best friends through all time and space. Following the classic tradition of Muppet Parodies, I offer this mash up of the Muppets and their favorite incarnations of a certain Time Lord. While the shirt can be offered in many different colors, I recommend TARDIS blue.

Out of curiosity, when people score me with a "1", could they post a reason? Can't learn if no critique is offered.

Holy crap. Fozzy as Colin Baker. Genius. I think Pepe should be k-9, Piggy as Sarah Jane Smith, maybe Rowlf as Sylvester McCoy? Oh, the ideas....

I'm not giving you a 1, but I can offer my 2 cents of critique. It's a really cool image and really well done! ...but it looks like it's just a painting plopped onto the front of a t-shirt, rather than a design meant for a shirt. Try to soften or get rid of the borders. Make it feel like the characters belong there. But it's a great picture.

See, that's what I'm talking about! Thank you for the advice. It may not help in this particular contest, but I will keep it in mind for future shirt submissions. Thanks again.

Yes, it's very cool! But I agree with the above comment. As a painting great! As a shirt, "Make it feel like the characters belong there."

Awesome concept, not sure it reads well on a T.

I wish I got the reference because I love the water color representation!

Your illustration is excellent. So Im not giving you a one either, but i do agree with Francesca. I found that my design did not work as a tee design because it was just too square. Other shapes or soft edges will work much better i think. Nicely done.

I really like the idea, but along with the other comments, it feels like a square picture on a tee shirt. Even just taking out the TARDIS background would help, I think

Its a great illustrative piece just a little too polished for a t shirt. Awesome work though!!!

I love this!! Maybe if you put them outside the TARDIS and had that fade into the rest of the t-shirt that might help with the design integration on the shirt.

Too polished for a shirt? Thanks, I guess. LOL.
If this one is selected (not too likely considering all the 1 votes I've received), perhaps I could tweak the image a little, if that's permitted. Since it is a watercolor painting, I can't just remove the TARDIS background, but I could fade the edges. Anyway, thank you all for the feedback. If there's a Doctor Who Threadless contest any time soon, I may adjust the image and resubmit.
