Japanese shibori shirting
Created by patternphile on Apr 03, 2011
This design was inspired by a traditional tie dye method from Japan called itajime shibori. It is created by folding the fabric many times before using clamp resists and dying. The result is amazing geometric patterns with a softened edge. I have reduced the scale of the design to create a contemporary shirting print. It is offered in two colorways with unisex appeal for both men's and women's wear.
