"The Street I Grew Up On" tells the story of a child who grew-up watching Sesame Street. As the child grows and changes, so does the street. The background art features various iterations of the show's set through the years -- from an early version of Hooper's Store to a modern version of 123 Sesame Street. At the end of the story, the child eventually grows-up and becomes a parent.
Now a dad, he continues laughing and learning as he watches Sesame Street with his son.

Thanks! It took me forever to do the background art. I studied a ton of pictures of the set from 1969-present before illustrating it.

Wow, this is touching and beautifully done. Not sure that it deserves to be relegated to simulated print on a tee with all of its gorgeous detail (would love to see it as a print!) Will definitely be checking out more of your work, Sir.
