Rebuilding is an active process. Rubble is recycled and turned back into building blocks. Building blocks are assembled into structures. I wanted this design to infer motion... so it's best "read" left to right, top to bottom (like a book).
Additionally, red, white and blue are NZ's flag colors, so it seemed fitting to emphasize them. They also contrast well together, and easily catch viewers' attention even from a distance.

I like the concept of using the letters N and Z to form building blocks, but I think the design as a whole has not yet come together. Why are there three layers of NZ's from scrambled to rearranged to blocks and a crane? Perhaps there could be a smoother transition of the letter arrangements morphing from one state to the other to illustrate your idea. And why is one set of NZ encased in a white box?
