The graphic's central focus is the geographic location of Christchurch. The magenta dot at the center of the country's disaster is made the focal point with the help of bold color selection and the directional arrow. The other arrows are used conceptually to show the renewal process (similar to the common 'recycle' logo). The type is bold and clean to read, giving viewers a very clear message. The Song for Chirstchurch logo was used as a period to further connect the message with those associated directly to the cause.
