In this time of need the world is coming together to help Japan, and we have a chance to contribute to its recovery. Hopefully this image can be inspiring.
Japan is a country with a strong sense of identity and a rich culture; bits and fragments of it have stayed with me through time. The challenge theme is Sunrise, so I wanted to tie up the concept by using UV inks that make the design flourish and become complete in the sun.

I LOVE this. Nice concept and execution =) The soft colour palette is great, and the line art stands just as nicely on its own. Well done!

i just came back from japan, and this design incorporates so much of japanese culture and history. it has a great mood to it, and a sensitivity to the tragedy. i absolutely LOVE it! if it doesn't win i'll be upset.

This is lovely! you have represented very well the rich culture of japan and the sentiment of hope and community help, that is so necessary for making japan rise again. A really brilliant and delicate piece of art. 5$

I absolutely LOVE this. The UV ink integration is really well done, and I love the detail put into the design. Nice job!
