About this design
Melting Point
Created by Hat_Boy on May 30, 2011
One proof of Climate Change is the rapid melting of the Arctic ice. And the evidence of polar bears that drowned because they could find no ice for refuge. The Earth is getting hotter and hotter.
Climate Change is real. Though some may say otherwise, it doesn't really hurt to be a little bit more environmentally conscious. And it's not just the lives of polar bears that are at stake here, ours too. And we may be running out of time to save ourselves.
This design depicts an Arctic scene melting within an hourglass. Countdown to destruction or depletion.

The design would be printed on either Ocean or Lagoon blue tee. Or whichever tee color works best. Simulated process.

Thank you so much! But I can't seem to please everybody. Ah well...

I like the design but you're probably getting so many ones because you seem to be giving an awful lot of ones too - your profile says you've given an average score of 1.67 to 160 submissions.

Could be... But I only give ones to designs I feel aren't up to a certain standard. I'm picky. Design school's made me real picky. But when I see a design truly deserving, I give 'em the highest marks. There are a lot of awesome designs out there, but there are a lot more designs that could do with some work.
I am just one opinion anyway. And I just think it sucks and kind of immature that my design's being scored based on my scoring average. If your assumption is at all true.
And this is probably just me, but I think designs should be scored based on how truly successful a design is. I'm not saying mine is good and not deserving of 1's. Everyone's entitled to score any design as they please. I just think people should score designs regardless of the designer. If you like it, then like it. But don't hate it, because you don't like a designer's point of view. Because that's just clouded sound judgement.
I have friends in this competition, and I respect and love them deeply. But I'm scoring their work based on what I feel their designs deserve. And they do the same for me. Because awesome people help each other improve by being honest and professional to each other.
But I am sorry if I did hurt anyone's feelings. I deeply deeply am sorry. And I'm very sorry if some don't like this design. Hopefully, I please you guys someday. I do aim to please with my work. :)
