Pixelated Dream draws inspiration for it's design from artist Dan Temkin. The original work from which this design comes is titled "Dither Study No. 4: Flocking (For Daniel Temkin)" and was featured as a post in my Year of the Glitch (http://yearoftheglitch.tumblr.com) project. Dithering is a technique whereby an image with a large color palette is resampled using a much smaller color palette. Different dithering techniques produce their own unique artifacts. The artifacts produced here resemble pixellated birds flocking around architectural-like forms.

The design is already reduced to an 8-color palette and can easily be printed on to any material desired.
