About The Challenge

It doesn’t matter if you can properly pronounce “duvet” or know nothing about the European etymology of the word. What matters is that you have a chance to create a design or a pattern for a duvet with a matching pillow sham!* Just like these Threadless + Bed Bath & Beyond duvet covers, the designs chosen from this challenge will be sold online and in Bed Bath & Beyond stores throughout America. Keep in mind that everyone decorates their home differently, so all sorts of designs can be in the running. You can design for a university dorm room, first apartment, master bedroom, or whatever else you can think of!

Since this challenge is different than any other, here are a few guidelines:

You can use the same design for both the duvet cover and pillowcase or create    coordinating designs for each piece.

Keep your design or pattern limited to 8 colors.

Mock up your design on these 3D templates to show the size and placement on a     duvet cover and sham.

Designs that are too detailed may not print clearly.

*fancy names for comforter covers and pillowcases.
