When I saw that The University of Alabama had an elephant for a mascot I knew I had to give this one a try. I noticed that the present logo is a rather angry-looking elephant in a cold, vectorized style. To me, this isn't what elephants are really about and also for sports-related designs I always prefer retro over modern. So I decided to go for a warm, vintage vibe with this design that has a sense of charm, history and team spirit. :)

I have to agree with dubiosgirl, these shirts are made for college students, primarily football watching ones, cute and vintage will not cut it in the long run, there has to be dominance about the shirt, just like the team.
