The Phoenix is a symbol that represents coning out of a bad situation stronger than you previously were. "Rising up" out of the ashes more prepared to face the next challenge. The butterflies symbolize hope. And the climbing of the stairs represent a difficult obstacle. There's no easy way to the top. Nobody deserves these adversities, but we need to face them with courage and determination, with cautious optimism and positivity.
