About this design
That Sinking Feeling
Created by cheshyredrops on May 04, 2012
On the front, I wanted to explore the situation of people watching as the saucers move in, and on the back focus on what they didn't see coming...until it was too late. I wanted to bring a little horror in, and give it just a little retro flare.
5 colors on a Bordeaux shirt.

I heart this.
Just wish the back had a circle of the spotlight...it's a bit awkward looking over the shoulder like that.

I like it. It's a clean style ; )

Thanks very much! And the circle of spotlight makes a lot of sense in hindsight...thanks for the feedback!

I'm actually fine with the current spotlight design on the back btw. Sets it apart from the rest, I think.

The part I like about this, besides the cutely rendered cartoon girl, is the conspicuous use of "But you didn't notice it because..." on both sides of the shirt. This gives it a nifty reciprocal and paradoxical feel, as though you have to keep cycling from front to back to front to try to understand it. (I know that's not how the story goes, but it's a nifty effect.)

Great work on the front design! I think the back would have been much more effective with a smaller spotlight.

I love the front! The back lighting feels a bit weird...
