I read the poem and immediately knew I wanted the basis of the design to be the text itself. (It seemed a bit of a waste to hide the awesome story!)
The reason I love comics so much is because of that perfect alliance of words and pictures telling a story; and here the words are not only setting the scene but are also the building blocks of the image.
